How to Buy FC Coins: a UK Guide

Get these four things ready first

Is your Transfer Market open?
EA keeps brand-new accounts off the Transfer Market for a while, which it says protects the in-game economy. New players open it inside the game, in the Objectives section of Ultimate Team, by finishing three objective groups in turn:
- The Journey Begins
- First Team Dreams
- Rising Through the Ranks
When the last group is done, full access arrives within 24 hours, or 48 hours on PC. Returning players in good standing normally skip all three and can trade from day one.
Can the Web App use it?
Those objectives unlock the market in the game only. The Web AppEA’s Ultimate Team in a web browser; on phones the same thing is called the Companion App. and the Companion App unlock separately. Players who had app access in an earlier game usually found it restored at launch. Everybody else builds it up through active days: EA counts a day when, on the same UTC date, you complete three Ultimate Team matches and sign in to one of the apps.
On a device of its own, an account in good standing typically needs two active days; where the device has hosted other clubs, reckon on four or more. Extra matches beyond three in a day make no difference, and EA’s advisers cannot switch access on or tell you when it will happen. Note one more date as well: after 7 November 2026 (UTC), the apps refuse entry to anyone who has not yet started Ultimate Team in FC 27 on a console or PC.
Two-factor authentication and spare codes
EA recommends two-factor authenticationA second check when signing in: EA sends a code by e-mail, text or authenticator app each time an unknown device tries to log in. on every account, and our partner insists on it for Comfort Trade. With it switched on, the security settings of your EA account let you display your backup codes; write them down and keep them somewhere safe. A code works only once and the seller uses one per login, so a handful is better than one.
Which platform is your club on?

Wait for the coins and check

While the order is open, leave your EA security settings alone and hold off on generating a fresh set, otherwise the codes you sent might stop working and the delivery would stall. A new-sign-in alert from EA while the order is open simply means the seller is using one of your codes.
When the coins have arrived
Once the status says completed, awaiting your confirmation, check your balance in Ultimate Team before heading back to the Transfer Market. The team closes the order after that, so flag any shortfall in the order chat first.

Refunds and cancelling
There is no button for cancelling an order. If you want to cancel or get your money back, contact support at the checkout by live chat or by e-mail, and include the order number, your name, the e-mail you ordered with, the order date, the amount and payment method, and why you are asking.
You can ask for up to 21 days from the payment date. Nothing delivered means a full refund; once delivery has begun, the refund is partial and reflects how far it got. A lower price after you bought earns no refund, and a change of mind may cost you a cancellation fee under the partner’s policy. Your questions answered
Is the checkout account the same as my EA account?
No, they are separate. The checkout account belongs to our partner marketplace and is linked to the e-mail you give when buying; it holds your order list and the order chat. Your EA account is the one you play with, and only its e-mail goes into the delivery details. Using two different e-mail addresses is perfectly fine.
How many backup codes should I send?
More than one. The trader uses a fresh code for every sign-in, and a larger order can need several sign-ins, so a single code may run out halfway. Send a handful of unused codes from your EA security settings. If they still run out, the live chat on the checkout site explains how to pass on new ones, quoting your order number.
Do I need to be online while the coins are delivered?
No. The trader works in the Web App, so your console or PC can stay off and there is nothing for you to watch. Keep an eye on the order chat in case the team has a question for you, and leave your EA security settings and backup codes untouched until the order shows as completed.
What does “completed, awaiting your confirmation” mean?
It means the seller has marked the delivery as done. There is nothing to press: open Ultimate Team and confirm the whole amount has arrived. Report any shortfall in the order chat. Once the team closes the order, the status changes to completed; a cancelled order is shown with its own status.
What if I typed the wrong e-mail in the delivery details?
Submitted details are locked, so you cannot correct them yourself. Write to the live chat on the checkout site straight away, give your order number and the correct details, and the team sorts it out before the trader starts. The same applies if a backup code was mistyped or has already been used.
My bank asked me to approve the payment. Is that normal?
Yes. Many UK banks ask you to confirm card payments in their app or by text message, especially for payments in euros. Approve it as you normally would. If the bank holds a payment for extra checks, our partner processes the order once the money comes through; an unfinished payment simply means no order is created.
