One family, one club
EA ties Ultimate Team progress to a platform family. Sony consoles share one club, Microsoft consoles share another, and PC keeps a club of its own. FC coins, FUT coins, FIFA coins: the label makes no difference, since the balance sits in one of those three clubs and EA offers no official means of moving it.
| Platform | Club shared by | Transfer Market |
|---|---|---|
| PlayStation | PS5 and PS4 | combined console market (player guides) |
| Xbox | Xbox Series XS and Xbox One | combined console market (player guides) |
| PC | EA app, Steam and Epic | a separate PC market |
Do not confuse a shared club with cross-play. Cross-play is purely about opponents: the current-generation pool brings together PS5, Xbox Series XS and PC, the older pool PS4 and Xbox One. You can turn it off in the settings, it starts switched on, and at no point does it combine clubs or coin balances.
PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4
Sony players have one club for both consoles. Whatever you build in Ultimate Team on the older machine is there on the newer one, and EA notes that this cross-progression applies to Ultimate Team alone, which happens to be the mode that holds your coins. Moving up costs nothing, as the FC 27 upgrade is free, so switching consoles mid-season leaves your balance untouched.
The price on this club today is about £5.88 per 100K, or £58.79 per million, converted from euros. Player guides say both Sony consoles share one console market with Microsoft’s, something EA confirmed in earlier years, and that is why both console prices are usually identical.

Xbox Series XS and Xbox One
Microsoft’s consoles work in the same way. An Xbox One club carries straight over to Series XS at no cost, and from then on either console loads it. What it cannot do is jump to a Sony console or a computer: according to EA, cross-progression is limited to one platform.
The price here today is about £5.88 per 100K and £58.79 per million, exactly as on the Sony club. Cross-play pools decide who your opponents are, never where your coins are kept.

PC: EA app, Steam and Epic Games Store
On PC your club is separate from both console families. You can launch FC 27 there from the EA app, from Steam or from the Epic Games Store, and even the Steam and Epic versions sign in with an EA account through the EA app in the background. The e-mail of that EA account is the one to give for delivery.
The PC Transfer Market is also separate from the console one. EA confirmed that split in previous editions, and player guides say FC 27 keeps it. Supply and demand differ on that market, so the PC price sits 2% below the console price today: about £5.76 per 100K and £57.55 per million.

Nintendo Switch and Switch 2: not available
Nintendo players keep one Ultimate Team progress across Switch and Switch 2, but it stays on Nintendo hardware: it does not pass to any other platform, and the Switch version has no cross-play. Our order card therefore covers the three clubs above only, and no order placed here can reach a Nintendo club.
Choosing a club before you buy
Getting the platform right is the one decision an order cannot undo. Your FC 27 coins should go to the club you will actually play with for the rest of the season, so look ahead before you buy. Moving up within a family, from an older console to its successor, keeps the club and its balance. Moving across, from Sony to Microsoft or to a computer, leaves the old club behind with every coin in it.
If such a move is coming, the sensible order is to switch first and buy afterwards, once the new club exists and its market is open. Anyone unsure which club is which can start Ultimate Team on the device they use most: the club and the balance shown there are what you should buy for.
Every club pays in euros
The checkout works the same way for all three clubs. Prices here are estimates in pounds, converted each morning, while our partner charges the order in euros whichever platform you buy for. With a card in another currency your bank does the conversion, so your statement can show a slightly different figure. Card on a Stripe page, USDT or USDC, or PayPal on request: the methods and their fees do not change with the platform either.
New FC 27 clubs and their market
A club created this season on any platform begins with a restricted market, and a delivery of FC 27 coins can only start once that market is open both in the game and in EA’s apps. The FC 27 coins page explains both stages and the 7 November deadline. Returning players who earned app access in an earlier game before the cut-off already had it at launch. For everyone else, buying before the lock lifts makes little sense, because the trader would simply have to wait.
Coins belong to one account
FC 27 coins cannot be passed between platforms, and EA’s rules also forbid passing them between accounts. EA classes giving coins to a friend as coin distribution and says that funnelling coins or items from several accounts into one club breaks the rules too. Buy for your own club only; a purchase for a spare account, with the coins moved on afterwards, is exactly the pattern EA describes. Anyone else who wants coins can order for their own club, with their own details.
Playing on two platforms? They are two separate clubs, so each one needs a purchase of its own, sized for that club and sent with the delivery details of that club’s EA account.
The same delivery on every platform
Delivery does not depend on the platform. Every order arrives within 2 hours by Comfort Trade: a trader logs in to Ultimate Team in the Web App, which needs an open Transfer Market, and brings the FC 27 coins over through several trades. Packages of 100K, 250K, 500K, 1M and 2M are ready to pick, and any figure from 100,000 is accepted too. As our partner offers no other method at present, the steps are the same whichever club you order for.
For each step and the checks worth making before you pay, see our buying guide; for the rules on when a new club gets Web App market access, see the FC 27 coins page. Right now PC prices sit 2% below console prices. Under our partner marketplace’s policy, you can ask for your money back within 21 days of paying.

Questions about platforms
Does cross-play let me use my coins on another console?
No. Cross-play only decides who you are matched against: PS5, Xbox Series XS and PC in one group, PS4 and Xbox One in the other. It is switched on by default and can be turned off, but it never joins clubs or balances together. Coins stay in the club of the platform family that received them.
Which platform is cheapest today?
Today the answer is PC, at about £5.76 per 100K, while PlayStation and Xbox share about £5.88. Prices are read from our partner marketplace every morning and converted into pounds, so the order can change. A cheaper platform only helps if your club is there, because coins delivered to one family cannot be moved to another later.
I play on Steam. Is that a different club from the EA app?
No. On PC the EA app, Steam and Epic Games Store versions all belong to one PC club. Steam and Epic still need an EA account and the EA app in the background, and that EA account is the one whose e-mail goes into the delivery details. Choose PC in the order card, whichever launcher you use.
Can I move my club from Xbox to PlayStation?
Not with EA’s tools. Progress carries within a family, from the older console to the newer one, but EA states that cross-progression only works on the same platform, so the club stays where it is. If you switch families, you start a new club there, and coins for it have to be ordered for the new platform.
Why are PlayStation and Xbox prices usually identical?
Player guides report that PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series XS all share one Transfer Market in FC 27. EA said so itself for FIFA 23 and again for FC 24, but has not restated it for this season, so it is highly probable rather than confirmed. On a shared market, sellers naturally charge the same for PlayStation and Xbox coins.
Your platform, your amount
The lowest rate right now is about £5.76 per 100K, on PC. Scroll up to the order card and it will work out the total in pounds.
